
The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Skills Development (CESD) in collaboration with the Human Resources Board (HRB) on Tuesday, 8th October, 2024 organized a teaching training for the university community themed “Enhancing Lecturer’s Capacity in Teaching
Technological Entrepreneurship” at the CESD auditorium.
While welcoming the participants to the occasion, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olumuyiwa Odusanya, noted that the life of a nation is sustained majorly by the micro small and medium scale enterprises, and therefore entrepreneurial skills are necessary in not only setting up these enterprises, but also to see to their success through effective management.
He urged the participants to make wise use of the training to impact not only themselves and their entrepreneurial ventures, but also their students.
The Director of CESD, Dr. Babatunde Adeshina, explained that the training was aimed at empowering the participants with the skills necessary to deliver entrepreneurial education to the students especially in alignment with the National University Commission (NUC’s) guidelines on entrepreneurial programmes for universities.
