Officials from the Lagos State Science and Innovation Council (LASRIC) recently visited the University to interact with the past recipients of LASRIC grants, assess the impact of their grants and create content for LASRIC global image. The visit was also a significant moment to showcase the tangible outcomes of their investments/funding in research and innovation at our University.
The team which was led by Mr Lateef Alani paid a courtesy to the Vice chancellor, who was ably represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor(ACAD), Professor Abiodun Denloye. He acknowledged the tremendous impact of LASRIC in advancing research and innovation within the institution and across the state. LASRIC team lead, Mr Lateef Alani appreciated the warm reception and noted that the Vice Chancellor, who also serves as the Chairman of LASRIC considered the visit a homecoming for him and the team The past awardees are Dr(Mrs) Tolulope Ojo (Food Tech.), Engr. Kayode Olalere (Engineering), Dr Oladotun Oguntoyinbo (Food Tech).
